Adpoint will reduce IT costs, grow ad revenue, improve customer service and increase operational efficiencies for Paddock Publications
Broomfield, Colo., Jan. 23, 2018 — Paddock Publications has selected Lineup Systems’ Adpoint media sales solution to modernize its print and digital advertising sales processes, leveraging the strength of the system and the industry knowledge of the Lineup Systems team to drive efficiencies and revenue growth throughout the business. Paddock Publications joins an elite set of Lineup Systems customers, all benefiting from the constant innovations delivered through Adpoint.
Paddock Publications will implement Adpoint for CRM, order management, accounts receivable and reporting for all of the company’s media properties, including Daily Herald, the third largest daily in Illinois; Reflejos Bilingual Journal; Daily Herald Business Ledger and Town Square Publications. The move to Adpoint will reduce IT costs, grow ad revenue, improve customer service and increase operational efficiencies for Paddock Publications.
“It was evident during our selection process that Lineup is entirely focused on having the best media sales platform,” said Stu Paddock III, vice president of Digital Technology and Information Systems at Daily Herald. “We chose them because they understand our technology needs, they are invested in our success, and their Adpoint solution can easily scale and evolve with our business.”
Paddock Publications is significantly enhancing its ad sales operations as it retires its legacy sales solution based on 25-year-old technology that required significant IT overhead and offered no CRM functionality, access to customer information from the field, or visibility into analytics and reporting.
Paddock Publications will utilize more than 50 seats on Lineup Systems’ cloud-based, multi-channel solution across sales, management, IT and finance departments. Adpoint will eliminate information silos, allowing users to cross sell, bill and report on advertising sales. Adpoint is a complete, self-sustaining ecosystem that makes it easy to manage the complex sales and order process, from lead generation to final billing, encompassing CRM, order management, operations and finance.
“Paddock Publications is evolving and diversifying our revenue streams,” continued Paddock. “Adpoint will help us streamline sales and finance functions, eliminating many of our manual processes and giving our staff access to critical customer data on their mobile devices. This will make us more agile, enable us to provide better customer service and operate more efficiently.”
“The media buying landscape has changed dramatically, especially with the consolidation of entities and the introduction of digital offerings. Adpoint will simplify advertising sales processes and bring data together so the Paddock media entities can operate with a full picture view of each media buyer,” said Michael Mendoza, CEO of Lineup Systems. “Adpoint will enable them to improve customer service, increase ad revenue and gain more visibility into their business operations. We anticipate Paddock’s return on investment, both qualitative and quantitative, will be substantial.”
